Primary Intracranial Rhabdomyosarcoma Arising in the Pineal Region
Rhabdomyosarcoma is an aggressive malignancy that most frequently arises within the head and neck of pediatric patients. We report a rare case of intracranial rhabdomyosarcoma developing in the third ventricular/pineal region of a teenage patient, review the lesion's imaging characteristics,
and compare it to previously reported cases.
