Spectrum of MRI Findings in Morning Glory Syndrome
Morning Glory syndrome is an uncommon optic disk anomaly that funduscopically resembles the eponymous flower and is associated with a wide spectrum of congenital anomalies. This spectrum encompasses hypertelorism, cleft lip/palate, vascular defects including aortic coarctation, basal
encephalocele, agenesis of corpus callosum, and sella turcica floor defects. Associated syndromes include PHACE syndrome, neurofibromatosis type 2, Okihiro syndrome, and Moyamoya syndrome. We present a case of Morning Glory syndrome and describe its distinguishing clinical and radiographic
features.
