Extensive Drop Spinal Metastases from Clival Chordoma
Chordomas are rare tumors of the neuroaxis. Histologic studies have shown that they develop from benign notochordal tumors. Commonly, they show only regional destructive growth, and metastases are relatively uncommon. We report a case of clival chordoma with extensive metastatic seeding
in the spinal canal compressing the spinal cord.
