Download Article:
A 21-year-old female patient presenting with a left-sided submandibular mass was referred for CT imaging of the neck. Findings of laboratory studies were unremarkable. Contrast-enhanced CT of the neck showed a 1.7-cm well-circumscribed, predominantly low-attenuation mass in the left submandibular space. The remainder of the neck was normal. Surgery was performed; pathology revealed a benign squamous epithelial inclusion cyst that had replaced part of the lymph node and was surrounded by normal lymphoid tissue.
