Free Content Imaging Characteristics of Common Postoperative Orbital Devices

The field of ophthalmology continues to progress, with new techniques and devices to treat orbital and globe pathology. Advances in the variety of ophthalmic surgical devices can be confusing to a radiologist interpreting postoperative imaging. Understanding the surgical history from the images lends added value to image interpretation because not all referring physicians are ophthalmologists. This article reviewed the normal imaging appearance of commonly used orbital devices.
