Decoding the Deep Gray: A Review of the Anatomy, Function, and Imaging Patterns Affecting the Basal Ganglia
This article reviews normal anatomy and function of the basal ganglia, organizes basal ganglia pathology into patterns of disease based on imaging findings and introduces an imaging algorithm to help in formulating a differential diagnosis for basal ganglia disease.
